City of Turlock Hosts 2026 Turlock Business Conference

The conference featured presentations from Dr. Gokce Soydemir, Professor of Economics at
Stanislaus State, and Jessica Bohlen, Director of Community Partnerships at Retail Strategies,
who shared insights on market conditions, consumer behavior, and factors that may influence
business operations in the years ahead. The program also included an opportunity for
attendees to engage in discussion and connect with fellow members of the local business
community.

Hosted by Mayor Amy Bublak, the event reflects the City’s ongoing efforts to support local
businesses by providing access to relevant information, resources, and opportunities for
collaboration.
