City Project #20-032 - Chemical System Upgrades Project at RWQCF

The Project consists of constructing the following components at the Regional Water Quality Control Facility: 1. Demolition of the existing Chlorine Gas disinfection system. 2. Installation of a new Sodium Hypochlorite disinfection system. 3. Demolition and installation of a new Coagulant chemical system. 4. Demolition and installation of a new Dechlorination system. 5. Additions and modifications to yard piping system. 6. Additions and modifications to electrical systems. 7. Additions and modifications to instrumentation systems. 8. Repair and reconstruction to existing facilities affected by the work and all work necessary to render the facility complete and operational.

Construction Duration: Work for the following project is schedule to begin on or about Monday, June 6, 2022 and estimated to complete on or around Monday, June 30, 2025.

City Project #21-043 - John Lazar Park

The work consists, in general of: grading, landscaping, irrigation, playground equipment, arbor, concrete, storm drain, drinking fountain and other associated work.

City Project #25-063 - Geer Road Water Valves Replacement

The work consists, in general of: replacing existing gate valves of various sizes on Geer Road between Wayside Drive and Hedstrom Road and other associated work. The work includes all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment and any incidentals needed to perform the improvements as shown on the contract plans.

Construction Duration: Work for the following project is schedule to begin on or about Thursday, May 7, 2026 and estimated to complete on or around Thursday, August 13, 2026.

Traffic Delays: There will be temporary lane closures during the replacement of the gate valves. Residents, delivery trucks, and garbage trucks will always have access to the affected streets. Contractor will notify all business owners and/or residents prior to starting specific work which will impact access to businesses and/or homes.

City Project #26-026 - Water Line Replacement on Lyons Avenue

The work consists in general of installation of water main pipe, service laterals, and trench repair. City Project #25-048 - Security Fence Improvements Public Safety Facility

The work consists in general of removal of existing person gates, rails, and pickets from the CMU walls and pilasters of the existing perimeter security fence surrounding the employee parking lot and replacement with new person gates, metal panels, rails, and pickets to increase the overall height of the perimeter security fence. City Project #25-020 - Fire Station No. 33 Site Improvements

The work consists in general of demolition, grading, dewatering, drainage improvements, relocation of the existing gate and fueling station, wood fence replacement, installation of french drain and storm drain facilities, manholes, minor concrete improvements, bollards, aggregate base, hot mix asphalt paving, pavement restoration , utility adjustments, and other related work. The work consists in general of replacing approximately 4,293 existing water meters with City-furnished Badger Meters and endpoints, and establishing the Badger Advance Meter Infrastructure Software (Beacon Saas). City Project #25-049 - Animal Control Facility Improvements

The work consists in general of repair of select metal animal enclosures, replacement of flooring in office building, replace shower with prefab shower, install CCTV security camera system, replace select exterior doors and hardware at kennel buildings, demolition and replacement of ~910 square feet of pavement section in two areas, replacement of concrete base and V track for existing vehicle gate, and an additive bid alternate for installation of an automatic vehicle gate operator with vehicle detector loops.
