City of Turlock Monitoring Situation Following Governor Newsom's Comments on Potential Threats to California

Turlock, CA | March 12, 2026 - The City of Turlock is aware of comments made by Governor Gavin Newsom that were reported in the media regarding potential threats impacting California.

The City and the Turlock Police Department are working with state and federal law enforcement partners to verify the information and are actively monitoring the situation. City staff, departments, and public safety personnel remain prepared to respond should circumstances require it.
