Training
Turlock Fire Department has a dedicated training division under the direction of a Chief Officer. It is the responsibility of the Training Division to research, develop, coordinate, schedule and deliver training to all employees. It is the goal of the Training Division to provide our Firefighters with the knowledge, and abilities to safely and efficiently mitigate all emergencies. The Turlock Fire Department is a participant in the
Joint Apprenticeship Committee Program, a state agency which certifies firefighters training and education, and a Pre-Hospital Continuing Education provider for our department’s EMS program.
