The Turlock City Fire Department provides station tours and public education presentations. Each presentation/tour lasts from 30-45 minutes and includes public education materials, handouts and a demonstration of fire safety, depending on age of group. Tours are given at all four fire stations. If you would like a presentation at another location please include the address on the request form.
The department requires that at least two (2) weeks notice is given prior to the requested presentation/tour date. After the request form is submitted to the department’s Administrative Analyst to verify the department’s schedule and contact the person listed on the request form. A presentation/tour is not approved until the Administrative Analyst confirms the date and time with the contact person.
Please note that during a Station Tour/presentation sometimes the engines are called out on an emergency and have to leave the station. Every effort will be made to finish the presentation on that date or rescheduled for a different date.
