Welcome to the Turlock Fire Department Webpage. The men and women of the Turlock Fire Department are proud to serve the citizens of the City of Turlock in Stanislaus County. Turlock is geographically located in the center of the Central Valley of California. It is the second largest City in Stanislaus County and is located along the Highway 99 corridor.

Our community and its surroundings are rich in agricultural and farming heritage. We have a wide range of agricultural crops ranging from almond orchards to grape vineyards to corn and alfalfa. In addition there are a large number of dairies in the surrounding areas.
The City of Turlock is home to the Stanislaus County Fair. Located in the center of the city, the county fair brings large crowds from all over the region each July as well as provides opportunity for numerous other events throughout the year.

Located along Monte Vista Avenue, Turlock is home to California State University, Stanislaus. The University offers numerous degree programs and has grown to become an integral part of this community. With a 228 acre campus CSUS is home to over 8000 students a year.
