Disabled Eligibility Cards
While passengers in wheelchairs automatically qualify for Discount BLAST fares, Medicare Card Holders and those aged 65 and over may need to show their id card to the bus driver to be eligible. The process of proving eligibility for the Discount fare is made much easier with a DART and BLAST Disabled Eligibility Card. Applications can be downloaded by clicking here or picked up at Turlock City Hall at the Finance and Engineering counters and will need to be signed by a health care professional or other certifying agency.
Transfers
Riders can transfer off one BLAST route and on to another, or onto Stanislaus Regional Transit (StaRT) for only 25 cents. Ask the driver for a transfer pass as you board the first bus and present that transfer pass as fare when you board the second bus. Transfers between two BLAST routes are only allowed at the Transfer Hub while transfers from BLAST to StaRT (and StaRT to BLAST) can be made at any stop that is shared by both services.
