Traffic Engineering

Our role as traffic engineering professionals is to design and develop the City’s transportation infrastructure to help facilitate safe and efficient travel for all residents. We take this responsibility seriously and understand that although we have a complex job, it’s an important one. If you have a concern, we want to hear about it. Construction Road Closures
View the most current list of construction related road closures and get tips for planning travel around work areas. There is currently 1 road closure to view.

Residential Street Closures
The temporary closure of a residential street for a block party or small neighborhood event requires a Residential Street Closure Permit. More Information

Volume Counts
You can now view our traffic counts via a Google map overlay. We are currently in the process of updating our counts; we will post updates as more data becomes available.

Transportation Permits
These permits are required for certain oversized loads. For more information and to download an application please click here.

Traffic Control Plan Checklist
