Storm Warning: Pet Awareness

Due to the expected storm, we are requesting that pets be kept indoors to protect them from harm. Owners should do a fence inspection and make sure that your gates are locked. If you are unable to secure your pet indoors, assure that they have shelter from the weather. Your pet must be wearing a license and a microchip is highly recommended for quick recovery.

The City will be challenged to clear roadways and keep our community safe due to inclement weather. Your pet running in the roadway will likely become an additional traffic hazard.

If your pet becomes lost during the storm, please check the animal shelter during our business hours, Monday-Saturday 10-2. We anticipate a high volume of phone activity and we will not be able to assist you if your pet is not wearing the proper identification.

Please keep your pets and yourself safe during the anticipated inclement weather.
